Briarwood Fee Schedule

The Overnight Rate covers a 24-hour period and includes sleeping accommodations for one night, use of a meeting facility, and use of the pool (in season).  Linen packs (including two sheets, bath towel, hand towel, wash cloth, and soap) are available at no additional cost.   Price quotes, unless otherwise noted, are per person per night.

Quail Run

(23 motel style rooms, each with 2 double beds and 1 bath)

Single Occupancy – $70.00 (per person)
Double Occupancy – $90.00 (per room)
Triple or Quad Occupancy – $110.00 (per room)

Cabins

Oak Grove 1, 2, and 3 (new cabins with 8 twin beds) – $270.00 per cabin or $45 per person
Oak Grove 4 (new cabin with 12 twin beds) – $375.00 or $45 per person
Trail’s End 1, 2, 3, and 4 (each cabin has 8 twin beds) – $200.00 per cabin or $40 per person

Food Services

Breakfast – $8.00
Lunch – $9.00
Dinner – $11.00

Children 4 to 11

Breakfast – $6.00
Lunch – $7.00
Dinner – $9.00

Children under 3 eat for free.

Meeting Facilities

Quail Run Lodge (100 guests) – Price Varies (Please call)
Meeting Room/Lodge (40 guests) – $75.00
Picnic Pavilion (150 guests) – $75.00

Swimming Pool

Available May 1 – October 1

Pool use is included in the overnight fees.  Groups that come for the day may use the pool for $50.00.  Lifeguards are advised for all groups.  If we provide the lifeguard, the fee is $25.00 per hour, per lifeguard, with a minimum of 2 hours.  More information is available in the publication Retreat Leader’s Guide (given to all groups who rent the facilities at Briarwood).

Other Activities

Archery (per hour) – $25.00
Challenge Course (per hour) – 25.00
Camp Fires – - $25.00 (Day use charge only – no chare for overnight guests)
Please note, if county burn ban is in effect, we cannot have camp fires

Volleyball, ping-pong, softball, football, horseshoes – No Charge

Insurance

All user groups are required to provide Briarwood with proof of their insurance coverage prior to their arrival at the center.

Equipment

PowerPoint Projector – $50.00
Overhead Projector – $15.00
TV/VCR/DVD – $15.00
Sound System – $25.00

Wireless Internet Access – complimentary in the Fireside Room and Quail Room Lodge.

Chalk and/or White Boards complimentary in all meeting rooms.

Podiums are available upon request at no charge.

All items subject to availability.

Complimentary hot beverages are available in all meeting rooms and at the Shalom Center.

Camp Store

The Briar Patch, our camp store, is located at the east end of the Shalom Center (dining hall) and can be opened upon request.  The Briar Patch stocks several varieties of Briarwood shirts, caps, etc. as well as supplies such as film, stamps, toothpaste, and deodorant.

Liturgical Supplies

Briarwood has the following liturgical/worship supplies for on-site worship use:

  • Piano
  • Altar
  • Processional Cross with stand
  • Two Processional Torches (12 inch tapers) with stands
  • Communion Ware: chalice, flagon, patens
  • Hymnals (Evangelical Lutheran Worship and Lutheran Book of Worship)
