How YOU Can Support Briarwood
Tax Deductible Donation
Can be made to: Briarwood Retreat Center, 670 Copper Canyon Rd., Argyle, TX 76226. Each gift becomes a stone that builds on the foundation of Christ. The giving levels in our “Building on the Foundation of Christ” giving are:
- $2000 or more per year – Keystone Partner
- $1000 to $1999 – Cornerstone Partner
- $500 to $999 – Living Stone Partner
- <$500 – River Stone Partner
Foundation partners are individual, families, businesses, organizations, and congregations that help Briarwood keep its commitment to affordable Christ centered programs. These donors contribute annually so that campers may continue to be provided all of the benefits of Briarwood programs without regard to financial ability.

Adopt a (Fill-in-the-Blank)!!
Individuals. groups, and congregations are “adopting” different rooms, cabins, and lodges as we remodel and update our facilities. For $2,000, you can adopt a Quail Run room. This will cover the cost of completely redoing a room, including patching and painting, new tile floor, new fixtures, and updates to the room’s bathroom OR you can adopt a cabin like Bethany Lutheran Church of Dallas did. They adopted THREE cabins in Oak Grove which are have been completely rebuilt from the ground up.

Golf Tournament
Briarwood’s Second Annual Golf Tournament will be held May 4th at the Golf Club at Fossil Creek. If you are interested in joining in on the fun as a player or sponsor please visit our golf tournament page by clicking here.
Last year was a wonderful event and a huge success!! We had 85 golfers join us on a perfect golfing weather day for a fun filled day on the course. And even more important, we raised almost $15,000 for the important ministry of Briarwood.
This amount that was raised included our two Platinum Sponsors (Thrivent Financial for Lutheran which gave Briarwood $5,000 in matching funds) and Faith Lutheran Church, Flower Mound, TX (which gave over $5,000). We also had one Gold Sponsor (Dick’s Sporting Goods), two Silver Sponsors (the Good Samaritan Center of Denton and the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial) as well as 22 other sponsors.
Thank you to everyone – volunteers, golfers, staff, and sponsors – who made our First Annual Golf Tournament such a great event.
